Delivery & Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with i-tem. We aim to deliver your order quickly, safely and in perfect condition. Please read the information below to understand how our delivery process works.

Delivery Areas

We currently deliver across the UK Mainland. Some remote postcodes may carry higher delivery fees or longer delivery times. If your postcode is not eligible at checkout, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Delivery Options & Rates

Standard Delivery

Delivered within 2 to 4 working days.

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight and location.

Express Delivery

Delivered within 1 to 2 working days.

Available for most postcodes. Pricing is shown at checkout.

Free Delivery

Orders above a certain value may qualify for free delivery. Thresholds are shown on the checkout page and may vary during promotions.

Processing Times

Orders are packed and dispatched Monday to Friday.

Orders placed after 1 pm are processed the next working day.

We do not process or dispatch orders on weekends or UK bank holidays.

During busy periods order processing may take slightly longer, but we always work to send your order as quickly as possible.

Shipping of Chilled or Temperature-Sensitive Items

Some products require temperature control.

If your order contains chilled or sensitive items, we pack them with insulated materials and ice packs to maintain product quality during delivery.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel on the first delivery attempt. i-tem cannot accept returns or issue refunds for temperature-sensitive items that have been left unattended or returned to the depot.

Delivery Attempts & Missed Deliveries

Our courier will send tracking updates by email or SMS so you can manage your delivery.

If you miss the delivery, the courier will leave instructions for rearranging or collecting your parcel.

If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts or incorrect address details, redelivery fees will apply.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link. You can check the delivery status at any time via the courier’s website.

Delivery Issues or Damaged Parcels

We take great care when packing your order. If your parcel arrives damaged or items are missing, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the issue. This helps us investigate and resolve it quickly.

Incorrect Address or Changes After Ordering

Please ensure your shipping details are correct at checkout.

If you need to make a change, contact us immediately. We can only amend details before the order has been dispatched.

Once an order is with the courier, changes or redirections may not be possible.

Returns of Food Products

For safety reasons we cannot accept returns of perishable or opened food items.

Non-food items may be eligible for return if unopened and in original condition. Please contact us before sending anything back.
